As we are nearing the end of the wet season and the dry spell with plenty of sunshine is available, we need to beat the heat and continue the celebration from where we started, right from Christmas to New Year, Easter, and Valentine’s Day! Now it is time for us to welcome the warm days.
Come summer, who would not love to lounge outside and sip on cool drinks? Here’s a ‘cool parent’ recipe for the entire family – easy peasy Gummy Worm Punch. Without a doubt, Gummy Worm Punch is the ideal drink to serve on a hot summer day. Apart from the taste, the kids will love the colour in addition to the excitement around those gummy worms. Suitable for all days, all kinds of parties and celebrations, sipping Gummy Worm frozen in a punch mixture emerging from the ice, is so much fun for the kids.
Here’s the recipe to the world’s best Gummy Worm Punch
Ingredients
One cup Gummy Candy Worms
Four cups of green berry rush kiwi-strawberry fruit punch
Three cans (12 oz each) orange-flavored carbonated beverage
Three cans (12 oz each) of grape-flavored carbonated beverage
One can (11.5 oz) frozen grape juice concentrate
Method
Scatter three-quarters of the worm gummies at the bottom of the six-cup ring mold. Once that is in place, pour the fruit punch over candy and fill within one inch of top to ensure that candy worms are floating on top. Place the remaining candy worms over the edge of the mold and freeze them for about six hours or till it becomes solid.
Serving advice: Mix carbonated beverages and juice concentrate in a large bowl. Remove the gummy punch from the molds, transfer them each into a beverage glasses/mugs/any other serve-ware. Add the carbonated beverage mix and serve.
Make the frozen gummies a day or 2 before your party to get a head start. All you need to do is refrigerate carbonated beverages on the morning of the party so that it’s handy for you to maintain the requisite cold when you make the Gummy Worm Punch.
