Not only would they add a dash of colour to the tree, but children can also have a bite if they want to. Alternately, stuff Christmas stockings with gummies and spring a surprise on the kids.
Gummy recipe
Gummies are chewable sweets and come in fruity flavors, the most popular ones being strawberry, orange, raspberry, and apple. You can add them to your drinks to add more colour to your gathering too.
Gummies Mocktail
Your kids are going to love this. You can make this brightly coloured drink in an instant. All you need is apple cider, gummies, and granulated sugar (optional). From kids to teens and adults, everyone would love this gummy mocktail.
Ingredients:
- 15 gummies of your choice
- 1 bottle sparkling apple cider
- 4 long toothpicks
- 4 champagne glasses
- Thread 3 gummies on a toothpick. Go on a repeat mode, 4 times, till all 12 gummies are used.
- Place three gummies into the bottom of each of the glasses.
- Pour the sparkling apple cider over the gummies.
- Decorate the glass with the gummies toothpicks on top

Gummies for the dessert table
For the Christmas spread, you can also think of a gummy-themed dessert table with different gummies as icing for your cake or on top of cupcakes. All you need to do is press the gummies onto the cake while still the cake is still warm and refrigerate. You can also try out gummy popsicles, which are very easy to make at home. All you need to do is fill the popsicle molds with gummies and any sparkling fruit drink and freeze.
