2021 is upon us bringing with it fresh hope and dreams for a better tomorrow. There is definitely a lot to feel grateful for this new year, and like every other year, maybe even make a few resolutions. Every year starts off with a blast and maybe even popping open a bottle or two of non-alcoholic champagne. But what about the rest of the year? Productivity plans aside, here’s a bunch of fun new year resolutions for 2021 which are sure to make your life interesting.
#1
DRINK MORE WINE
Now this one is important. 2020 was a tough ride, and while 2021 is sure to be better, it’s always important to enjoy some good old-fashioned R&R. Kick back your feet and enjoy a good TV show with a glass of chilled non-alcoholic white wine. With zero alcohol content or added sugar, it’s a guilt free indulgence that’ll keep you cruising through the year. Don’t just stick to the same bottle of white, switch it up, try a red, some non-alcoholic rosé or even some champagne. Change is good, as long as it’s wine!
#2
READ MORE BOOKS
Reading books seems to be an art long forgotten. Bring back this lost habit and wind down with a book rather than a screen. Your eyes will thank you for it. Create a little reading nook in your home to relax and enjoy a few magazines or even a classic or two. Pair this with a flute of the finest non-alcoholic Merlot for the perfect evening. Aromatic diffuser and classical music background optional.
#3
EAT MORE FRUIT
Put down that chocolate bar/ ice cream tub/ cake slice and take a second. Your body and mind craving for a sweet hit? Sure. But why not replace the sugary no-nos with nature’s guilt-free alternatives instead? Picture this. A succulent peach, juicy and soft, a perfectly ripe strawberry, begging to be bitten, a slice of watermelon, oozing moisture. Craving some fruit now? Whip up a nice fruit salad and enjoy it with a glass of bubbly non-alcoholic Chardonnay!
#4
TRY NEW RECIPES
Ordering Chinese takeout or pizza can get old fast. Why not let 2021 be the year you sharpen your cooking skills. Call up your grandma and ask her for those delicious recipes she used to whip up. Or join an online cooking class. Either way, you’re going to have delicious home-cooked meals to sit down to. And what goes better with piping hot comfort food than a bottle of non-alcoholic wine!
#5
EXERCISE EVERYDAY
Had to sneak this one in here. Stretch every day for a glass of delicious non-alcoholic rosé….. Jokes aside, regular physical activity could make your days more vibrant and your body is sure to thank you for it.
Happy new year!
